Pioneer Paper Stock is an open outdoor plant, with a maintenance shop onsite.

Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic Level 2 is responsible for the maintenance of the plant building and equipment to ensure that all equipment is in working order. The ability to recognize and diagnose problems and issues with equipment is essential.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Plant machinery and trailer maintenance and repair
- Building and grounds maintenance
- Baler repair experience
- Conveyor belt repair and adjustment
- Troubleshoot starters, proximity switches and relays
- Rebuild hydraulic cyclinders
- Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Welding/metal fabrication
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand and climb
- Forklift/skid steer/loader maintenance repair
- Adhere to our company safety and employee handbook policies
- Work in all weather conditions
Required Skills/Abilities
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimum supervision
- Ability to schedule projects//repairs and adapt to changing conditions
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Wiring and electric repairs up to 480v, a plus
- Preferred 2-year certification from Technical college/education
- Three years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role in an industrial setting.
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish, is a plus
