Mark Elsbernd is the Division President of Pioneer Paper Stock Company in Minneapolis. In his role, he is responsible for the recycling and security shredding operations of the Minneapolis plants. Mark has over 30 years of recycling and solid waste experience. Mark began his career as a CPA in the public accounting sector before joining BFI in 1988. Mark held various positions at BFI starting as a District Account Manager and moving into the District Managers role overseeing the Twin Cities MRP operations. Mark later held the role of Area VP of Recycling for the Upper Midwest overseeing 23 recycling operations for BFI.
Mr. Elsbernd is a graduate of Minnesota State University – Moorhead where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Mark is also a CPA.
